Nine time Log Rolling world champion J.R. Salzman won his second straight Three Rivers Roleo title in Onalaska on Saturday, defeating Carl Rick in three straight falls. Salzman, who also defeated Caleb Graves and Garrick Birdsong on his way to the title, did not lose a fall in any of his three matches. As the number one ranked men’s roller in the world, Salzman also won the Midwest Championship in Madison last month, and will attempt to win his 10th World Championship in Hayward, WI later this month.

On the women’s side, the second ranked woman in the world, 19-year old Gretchen Greene, defeated Ellie Davenport, three falls to none, to capture her second straight Roleo title. Greene, who’s won three tournaments since the start of the 2014 season, defeated Claudia Duffy and Emily Christopherson before beating Davenport for the title. Despite finishing second, Davenport is off to a fast start this year, with two victories (La Crosse Open, Midwest Championship) to go along with the runner up at Saturdays Three Rivers Roleo.
